Jan Logie: Domestic violence leave could save employers money

Green MP Jan Logie says new domestic violence legislation could save employers money.
From April, businesses will have to provide up to ten days paid leave to workers affected by domestic violence.
Jan Logie told Mike Hosking victims of violence are often forced out of their jobs by abusive partners.
She hopes the new legislation will help change that.
"Sixty per cent of victims of domestic violence are in work when they start their relationship but only half of them manage to sustain their jobs."
