"I am a third year film student at the University of Central Florida. My passion for film started in theatre and has evolved throughout my adolescence. When I started university, it became clear to me that although our world is constantly changing, I and many others with personal stories of immigration, race, religious, and gender inequity don’t have the space in the media that our more privileged friends enjoy every day. I sought and still seek to change that by allowing as many people to share their stories as possible. Because if you continually and consistently share your story, no one can make you into a stereotype."
