Janelle wanted to get pregnant and have a family of her own. However, she struggled conceiving naturally and sought help from fertility treatments. In that time, she had friends and relatives who were getting pregnant and having babies left and right. It seemed like everyone she knew was starting their own family. She was so distraught; she couldn’t go to baby showers anymore or be around pregnant people in general. She and her husband had to come to a decision, either keep trying with an expensive and an emotionally draining procedure on her body, or go through the adoption route, where she was guaranteed to be a mom.
