• Massive blast yesterday on the sun, it was on the far side of the sun at 19:50 utc. This region will be facing us in a few days.
• Filament eruption at 11:50 utc yesterday, that ejecta fell back towards the sun.
• 10 C class flares. C9.6 from an unnumbered region around 3:50 utc today. Lead flare producer is that unnumbered region.
• 3 active sunspot regions; 2 beta, 1 alpha.
• Solar wind got up to 696 km/s around 18;00 utc, currently moderately strong at 507 km/s
• Geomagnetic field was KP 1-3 past 24 hours, currently a little over KP 1.5 which is quiet.
• Forecast for solar flares X - 1%, M-25% (that should go up in a couple of days with the new region facing us)
• Geomagnetic field forecast could get up to KP 3-4 from coronal hole and solar wind.
• Schumann field illustrated magnetospheric coupling, energy is arriving in waves and not shocks, system is being worked rhythmically, solar wind variability is the likely result, system is in a integration mode.
