A day after the Astros fired GM Jeff Luhnow and Manager AJ Hinch, the Boston Red Sox and Manager Alex Cora "mutually parted ways" after Cora was implicated in not one, but two sign-stealing investigations. Cora is still awaiting formal punishment by MLB for his involvement in the Astros 2017 sign-stealing efforts, when he was the team's bench coach, as well as a separate 2018 Red Sox investigation.
