Are you graduating or leaving the WRDSB at the end of the semester? If so, please remember to return your Chromebook and charger to the Main Office after your last exam or before January 23rd if you have no exams. Also, your computer and email account will be disabled shortly after you leave or graduate, so don’t forget to back up all your important data and email. Please be sure that people and organizations who need to contact you have your personal email address. You will not be able to access your @wrdsb.ca email after you leave the school board.

More than 300 of you have agreed to stand for peace on WCI's Peace Wall. The project began in response to recent terrible aggression in the world. Those, on the wall, stand for peace in their daily lives and in the world. They also stand in solidarity with all our students and staff who continue to be impacted by war. It's a small act, but it is something. If you would like to be on the wall, come to guidance at lunch Wednesday or Thursday. Let's build this wall...of peace!

Happy New Year to all our Asian students who are celebrating the Lunar New Year this Friday! Also known as Spring Festival, the New Year begins on the new moon on Friday, ushering in the Year of the Rat. Families gather for a reunion dinner. They also thoroughly clean their house, in order to sweep away any ill-fortune and to make way for incoming good luck. We wish all of you good fortune, happiness, wealth, and longevity (as well as success on your exams) on the occasion of Chinese New Year!
