On January 5th, 2007, the third-busiest ski resort in Canada after Whistler, B.C., and Tremblant, Quebec, and Ontario’s largest ski resort, Blue Mountain, in Collingwood, Ontario was forced to lay-off 1,300 workers because they were also forced to close down all ski operations in the middle of the winter season!
