The Christian life isn't one where we build our resumes and try to prove ourselves worthy, but is one of receiving what's already been done by Jesus. Genesis 11-12, Matthew 5:1-26, Psalm 5, and Proverbs 1:25-28 teach us to depend, trust, and wait for him.
