All of us have a place in our lives that relates to the disabled man. Jesus came to heal our hearts.

“Do you want to get well?”

Instead of wanting to get well, this man made excuses for why he was still laying there.

Jesus wants to heal us, but do we allow Him to?

When we make the decision to allow Jesus into our lives He calls us out, He rights our wrongs and He heals us for His Glory.

“Get up, pick up your mat and walk.”

He gives us everything we need to follow Him. When we say yes and invite Him in, He redeems us and heals our hearts. Because we know His Love, we know as He calls out our sin, He is calling us up to be better because of how much He loves.

“See, you are well. Do not sin anymore, so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.”
