This podcast episode centers around two themes: the declining birth rate in Japan and how cultural norms affect dating.  Japan's marriages have dropped by more than 200,000 in twenty years and the decline will continue to affect funding social programs for the elderly as well as the future working class.  I've also made mention to Aziz Ansari's book "Modern Romance" and the two categories that Japanese women have categorized men by.
