Jarrett is the two-time winner of the Third to Fourth Grade Book of the Year in the Children’s Choice Book Awards, has emceed the ceremony twice, and has seen his work recommended by national publications like Newsweek, The New York Times and USA Today. He is also the host of The Book Report with JJK on SiriusXM’s Kids’ Place Live, a twice-a-month segment celebrating authors, books and reading. His Punk Farm and Lunch Lady series are both in development to be feature films. In 2013 his Lunch Lady series will end and he will launch Platypus Police Squad, a new chapter book series.
