Jasmyne Spencer is a professional soccer player for OL Reign in the NWSL. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a pro and pursued her dream with passion.  Jasmyne talks to us about how the last year of her life going through ACL injury has not only been the most rewarding but also the most challenging and how she has learned to let those live in conjunction with one another. She opens up about how her fiance helped her shift her mentality, how she was thankful for her teammates she was rehabbing with, and how this delay in her season is something she is looking at from the bright side. Carrie Lawrence was at the top of her game this off-season. After a different journey into NWSL, she not only became a regular with the Orlando Pride, but she recently signed a multi year extension deal to stay with the club. In preseason, Carrie tore her ACL again for the 2nd time. She is now into her rehab process about 5 weeks and speaks to me about the challenges she is facing, how she gets through the highs and lows, and how she is expectant that the journey will help her have a different perspective when she makes it back on the pitch.
