Jason Shrout has been drumming in Kansas City area hardcore bands for two decades now. Over the years he's played in Dark Ages, Black Mark, Saved By Grace, Nervous Wreck, California's Eighteen Visions, and occasionally, Seattle's Trial. We talked a bit about all of these bands, trends in hardcore and metalcore, Royals baseball, BMX, and the new EP from his current band, 34.
34's new EP, "Oppositioner," is out online Friday, December 6. The band is also playing a release show that night with Hyborian, Pro Magnum, and Crisis Actor at The Riot Room.
