Learn Javascript quickly and painlessly with this book. I was a complete beginner when it came to Javascript prior to reading through this book, but now I know a little bit of the ins and outs of the program and I am pretty decent. The book is written in a straightforward format that allows you to learn quickly and easily. Because of this, you will not really be confused when trying to implement what you have learned about Javascript. Overall, this is a great guide to Javascript and if you are a beginner, you can't go wrong with this book.

This is a great comprehensive guide for anyone who wants to learn JavaScript. It goes into detail on all the basics of the language and is very easy to learn and comprehend for beginners. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get their feet wet with programming, even if you have never done it before.

Js basics and simple read.
Dont Be Fooled!
Not only is this only 1 hour and 45 minutes, but 1/2 of it is a "bonus book" for learning Python! I was looking for information about JavaScript concepts and what makes it different. Instead, I got a 50 minute rundown on basically a "hello world" application and definitions of concepts common to every language. There was even a section where he actually reads off every keyword in JavaScript. Not providing context or definition and just reading the keywords is NOT helpful.
The description for this book is incredibly misleading and I want my $ back!
