Dak Prescott accounted for 5 TDs, as the Dallas Cowboys routed the New York  Giants again 49-17 for their 12th straight home win. The Cowboys (6-3) won 40-0 in the opener in New Jersey, and the 72-point margin was their largest in a sweep of an NFC East opponent, topping their 66-point edge against Philadelphia in 1969.
The Giants (2-8) were outgained 368-27 in the first half with Tommy DeVito as the first undrafted rookie to start for them at quarterback in the common draft era, save for a strike-replacement game in 1987.

The New York Giants fell to the New York Jets, 13-10 in overtime game on Sunday. Greg Zuerlein of the Jets kicked a 33-yard field goal in overtime for the winning points. The Giants fell to 2-6, while the Jets improved to 4-3.

The Giants’ offensive line might have gotten healthier, but the offense as a whole suffered a pair of big losses in the second quarter when Tyrod Taylor and Darren Waller left the game with injuries.

Tyrod was taken to the hospital with a rib injury after taking a hard hit on a broken play. Undrafted rookie QB Tommy DeVito replaced him,

Giants’ running back Saquon Barkley shouldered the load on offense, carrying the ball 36 times for 128 yards, as the Giants didn’t complete a pass in the second half.

The GMen head out to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in Week 9.

Giants News: The Giants traded Leonard Williams to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and a fifth-round pick in 2025. 
Daniel Jones set to return this week at QB.

Raiders News" The Raiders late Tuesday night fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager David Ziegler, fired offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi on Wednesday and will bench Jimmy Garoppolo and start Aidan O’Connell at quarterback.

Antonio Pierce, the former Giants linebacker, is the interim head coach.

Tyrod Taylor threw two second-quarter touchdown passes and the Dexter Lawrence-led defense had six sacks and made a last-minute stand to help New York snap a four-game skid with a 14-7 victory over the Washington Commanders 

Taylor, starting for the second straight week with Daniel Jones sidelined with a neck injury, hit Darren Waller on a 15-yard score and added a 32-yard pass play to Saquon Barkley as New York (2-5) scored its first two offensive first-half touchdowns of the season. He finished 18 of 29 for 279 yards.

NYG Play the Jets in the game for the bragging rights of MetLife Stadium.

The Giants will try to snap a four-game losing streak when they face the 3-3 Commanders at MetLife. 

While the Giants lost to the Bills 14-9, the Commanders lost 37-3 to the same team just three weeks earlier.

New York and Washington are similar in terms of turnovers and yards allowed, meaning it will likely be another close match up between the division rivals. The Giants have given Washington problems the last four seasons, and last year's games ended in a tie and just an eight-point victory. 

FANTASY TIP: While Terry McLaurin has been a pain against the Giants, Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson had nine catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns combined in the games last season. He also got only one target last week so expect Howell to make up Sunday.

The Giants’ Jason Pinnock returned one of the interceptions 102 yards for New York’s only touchdown. It was the Giants’ first touchdown in the first half of a game this season. The 102-yard interception return tied for the longest in Giants history. 
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones left in the fourth with a neck injury after a sack by linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel. Tyrod Taylor replaced Jones with 12:11 left and led the Giants on a scoring drive capped by a 51-yard field goal by Graham Gano.
The Giants (1-4) forced a turnover for the first time this season when safety Xavier McKinney forced a fumble of Achane in the second quarter, which edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux recovered.

The Giants moved the ball at times — they had 268 yards — and forced three turnovers but only had nine offensive points to show for it. 
GMen play the Buffalo Bills 3-2, 2-1 HOME on SNF

Giants outclassed by 49ers, but it's too soon to write them off. No historic comeback this time. The Giants, now outscored 63-6 in three first halves this season, were unable to climb out of another hole on Thursday Night Football and fell 30-12 to the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. 

The Gmen face the Seattle Seahawks on MNF, on October 2nd 

Running back Saquon Barkley (high ankle sprain) and left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring) both practiced for the New York Giants on Thursday, with both star players hoping to return for Monday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Barkley, who missed last week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, is hoping to make a quick return from his injury. Head coach Brian Daboll said Barkley is “making progress.”

The Giants were trailing the Arizona Cardinals 20-0 at the half in week 2, having played 6 awful quarters and being outscored 60-0.. Daniel Jones and Saquan Barkley sparked a second half comeback, and a last second 31-28 win. Week 3 brings the class of the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers and the Gmen will play without Saquan Barkley.
