Jay Burgess is a singer/songwriter and frontman of The Pollies from Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Jay got his start in a band called Sons of Roswell and toured the Southeastern U.S. before forming The Pollies. They have released 2 albums so far, "Where the Lies Begin" on This Is American Music and "Not Here" on Single Lock Records.
The Pollies have also backed Browan Lollar on an EP as well as the late Chris Porter and currently serve as the backing band for Dylan Leblanc.
On this episode, Jay talks about Sons of Roswell and The Pollies and we share stories about our late friend, Chris Porter.
