This week on Legends, Bob talks with Starkville High Athletic Director and former Southern Miss football head coach Jay Hopson.

Southern Miss hired Hopson as its defensive backs coach in 2001. Hopson coached after the great Tyrone Nix, who was elevated to defensive coordinator. Hopson served as defensive coordinator 2005-2007.

He returned to Southern Miss in 2016 as head coach and was tenured to the 2020 season. He went 28-23 as head football coach of Southern Miss. 4

Bob talks with Jay about his time at Southern Miss, why he decided to leave USM and what he's done after his time with the Golden Eagles.
