After some time on the Capital District's hard-rock music circuit in various forms, Jay Graham decided to reinvent himself a couple years ago. New material began pouring out of him as he put together some basic demos. Working with producer Gary Tash to help refine the new direction, it became clear he needed to find the right guys to fill out the team to move ahead.
"JLG Band" was born when Jay hooked up with Chad on the "Neal-Peart-sized" kit. They quickly gelled, and the new drummer took the writing in exciting new directions. After a stretch of searching for the right bass player, they found someone that not only liked the material, but also began adding to creative venture. With Teri? now on board, JLG Band is set to tear up the area with their progressive, hard-rock, originals. Keep an eye out for upcoming performances, with recording out likely this fall.
