The Pentagon estimates there have been more than 100,000 casualties on both sides since the war began in February of 2022. One of those casualties was a man named Joshua Jones from North Mississippi, and his family remembered and honored their son on Friday, February 17, 2023.

Smollett was tried for six counts of felony disorderly conduct, a class 4 felony that carries up to three years in prison, for allegedly making false statements to police. The jury deliberated for more than nine hours found the disgraced actor guilty on 5 of the 6 charges.
