This week's podcast is actually two old podcasts I did with Jay's Beer Review (aka  @jjrudy41 ) back in the early days of this channel. If you've been watching me (or BeerTube in general) since 2009, you might remember Jay. When I first got into craft beer, he was a much more seasoned drinker and knew more about beer than me. He was also one of the first guest reviewers I ever had on this show. It was after doing that review of St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout with me that Jay felt comfortable starting his own show. The two of us did a lot of collabs over the years. He stopped producing content in 2014 and deleted most of the reviews from his channel, however, he has kept some of the most popular episodes viewable on his channel: https://www.youtube.com/@jjrudy41/videos

In case you're wondering, Jay is indeed alive and well. He still lives in Upstate New York and makes treks to the Hill Farmstead and Treehouse breweries once or twice a year. We occasionally chat through Facebook, but I can't remember the last time we saw each in person.
