What's this? Two podcasts in a week? Is something weird happening in the world?
Yes, it is. The Utah Jazz and the NBA continue their hiatus due to coronavirus concerns, but Utah Jazz Gaming is ready to open its season. The Jazz Gamers tip off the preseason 3-on-3 tournament Three For All Showdown on Tuesday, and head coach Jelani "Comp" Mitchell joined the podcast to break down the team, the league and what the future of his sport looks like in the short term as the only game in town.

Happy Quarantine Day!
KSL.com reporter Ryan Miller takes a few minutes on a wild day of breaking news to chat with producer Sean Walker about the upcoming Utah Jazz season, which starts Wednesday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
What was a bigger surprise — Snyder's extension to keep him in Utah long enough to finish building a house, or Ingles' deal that will keep the Aussie on the Wasatch Front through 2022?
Plus, the guys have some burning hot takes for the current iteration of the Jazz. Is a winless preseason merely a harbinger of things to come, or can the Jazz pull it together in time to live up to lofty expectations by the fanbase (and management)? Can Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley and the rest carry the Jazz to the tops of the Western Conference?
What about the rest of the 15-man roster? What roles will Stanton Kidd, Royce O'Neale and Miye Oni play on the team?
And finally, Ryan answers the most burning question of all: Which Hogwarts' House will take in each Jazz player, as well as coach Snyder?

Ryan Miller is back in Utah, which means he and Sean Walker from KSL.com break down the United States' recent demoralizing FIBA World Cup finish. Good news, though, Jazz fans: the trio of Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles had a really good summer in China. Did Donovan earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic team roster for Tokyo 2020? And who had the best summer, overall?
The guys then turn their attention to the upcoming season, and to prepare for it, SI.com recently posted their Top 100 NBA players — a list that includes Mitchell, Gobert, Ingles, and new additions Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic. Let's break it down together.

KSL.com's Ryan Miller and Sean Walker are back after a brief hiatus to discuss Joe Ingles leading Australia by Rudy Gobert and France in the FIBA World Cup, what Donovan Mitchell is doing to stand out for the United States, and where the Jazz's new "Classic" uniforms rank among the myriad of clothe in franchise history.
Plus, Ryan and Sean tell you which uniform corresponds to some of the top Jazz players throughout history. Some of the answers may surprise you.

Oh, the offseason. The time of unblemished records, endless optimism and hope — beautiful, glorious hope. The Jazz will enter the 2019-20 season coming off what many see as the team’s best offseason ever.
They got their point guard in Mike Conley. They got a versatile stretch four/wing in Bojan Bogdanovic. They found a replacement for Derrick Favors in Ed Davis and even Jeff Green. And got a former lottery pick that could still develop in Emmanuel Mudiay.
So, yeah, the Jazz might as well start planning a parade around Salt Lake next June. Or maybe not...
This isn’t the first time the Jazz have been hyped coming into the year (though, it’s hard to find a time that there has been this much excitement from national media and Las Vegas for a Jazz team). Some worked out. Others? Not so much.
On this week’s Jazz Shorts podcast, KSL.com’s Sean Walker and Ryan Miller draft their teams of the most disappointing players in Jazz history — players that created a buzz but didn’t quite live up to expectations — and give their burning takes on who of the newbies are most likely to be join the list.
Is this the worst Team USA of all time? The Ringer thinks so ... but also doesn't? Ryan and Sean discuss this hot take of all hot takes in advance of the FIBA World Cup in China, which tips off Aug. 31.
Regardless of level of talent, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell is poised to be Captain America. Is that a good thing for the Jazz? And how can the NBA help international basketball.
In "This Week in Irrational Upsets," Ryan goes off on bananas. Yes, bananas. And Sean has a problem with fantasy football.

Ryan is back from the dead (or vacation), and he joins Sean on the holiday known as National NBA Schedule Release Day to break down the Utah Jazz's 2019-20 home schedule. What games should you buy tickets? Which games should you avoid? And how will Utah fans react when Russell Westbrook pays them a visit — on the same team as James Harden?

KSL.com's Ryan Miller has some breaking news about Carlos Boozer and the Big 3, then he and Sean Walker run down the best free-agent signings of the NBA summer, starting at the top of a loaded Western Conference and ending with their three least-liked squads in the league. Where do the Jazz stack up? And where did Sean spend his summer vacation?
