A Call To Action on your website doesn't have to be predictable, like a pop-up window interrupting your viewer, or only at the end of your blog. You can really get more creative with it by using a jazzy graphic, or having it slide into the viewing screen from the side. Or have a scrolling banner that moves with them as they scroll through your page. Placing it somewhere different each time is also an option and doesn't make you so predictable. Test it, change it, and find something that works for your audience.
