Iris Haim’s son, Yotam Haim, was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 and held hostage in Gaza for more than two months.

On December 15, 2023, Yotam escaped captivity — only to be tragically mistaken for a threat and killed by IDF soldiers.

Iris had every reason to be consumed by anger.

Instead, she chose forgiveness.
