“For a guy that’s been stabbed on the subway, shot at, chased by the mob, homeless; I think I did pretty good. If you want to get down to the nitty gritty… I’ve been arrested a few times. And the reason I bring that up is because those are the mistakes that I, deep down inside, I want to let my son know that that’s no place to be. It’s one of the most humiliating places, embarrassing, and hurtful places you will be. Any human being might end up there because anything can happen. But if you can avoid that, that’s one of the big things in life that you really shouldn’t experience.”

Coach JC joins us on the Entitled Opinion podcast to tell us about his life, starting with how he had to fend for himself as a teenager when he moved from Brooklyn, NY to Bumfuck, FL. After taking some licks and doling out some of his own, he had hopes of competing in boxing at the Olympic echelon. While that dream did not come to fruition, JC never gave up on boxing, transforming that passion into coaching. He's kept the fighting spirit alive despite adversities, pushing through hardship to come out the other side. He is now excited to welcome his firstborn into the world.
