The Jamaica Constabulary Force says it is satisfied that the police teams which have been strategically deployed across the country are effectively ensuring a safe and secure election day. 

Head of the constabulary's communications network, Senior Superintendent, Stephanie Lindsay told IRIE FM News, that so far, there has been no major issue.
