Dan Fournier the obscure sports league fanatic came on today to talk about the the original #usfl league 1983-85.  

Dan had a great story from the @jeff_pearlman book “Football for a buck” where owner John F. Bassett wrote a letter to NJ Generals owner @realdonaldtrump not happy with his handling of the league going from the spring to fall which led to their demise.  

Dan has made over 250 USFL helmets & his USA team helmets that played in the @cfl are in their HOF.  

Dan explained how the CFL is unique from the @nfl with three downs, how the teams are lined up each down but not happy with them getting rid of the rouge.   

Want to meet @atlanticschooners fans.  Should be the 10th team in the CFL.  

#worldhockeyassociation Dan had a great Gerry Cheevers story where he brought his Cleveland Crusaders jersey to get signed.  

#worldfootballleague lasted a season and a half too.  

He hasn’t been to see the @nyrangers @thegarden need to change that.  

Dan also worked at @westdalecinema & @tiff_net with great stories about the late #robertduvall & clinteastwood plus Sports Trivia.
