"East London was inspired by my journeys on the underground back and forth from Stratford and Canning Town in East London. The ambient and more melodic sections being the platform stop which often felt like a rest from the constant noise of the train. London has something magical about it at night, everyone in their own world going through the late night into early morning. Even though travelling on the underground is a pretty mundane thing, I always loved sitting there with my headphones on at 3am listening to tunes and felt that the background noise added something as well. There's something nice about just zoning out to music on the tube and then arriving at your destination. This was one of the first jungle tunes I ever tried to make but a load of the samples and instruments I used disappeared from the logic session over the years so I basically had to build it again from the ground up and thought I'd release it before it happens again!"
