je dis ça, je dis rien – I say that, I say nothing – In everyday French, je dis ça, je dis rien or j’dis ça, j’dis rien is used when you want to tell someone they should be doing something, it’s your opinion that YOU would do things differently, but you don’t really say that. You tell people what to do without taking responsibility. I translate it as ‘I’m just saying’.
