Dan Jesel ended up taking home the 80 pound JE Pistons Masters Of Motors Award at the 2018 Performance Racing Industry show (PRI) in Indianapolis, IN.

Jesel won the Engine-Uity award for his completely custom build land-speed racing engine he calls the Equal 8.

The JE Pistons Master Of Motors competition was open to all engine on-site at the 2018 SEMA show and then again at the 2018 PRI show, and it was judged by a team of experts among a variety of categories.

The Engine-Uity Award is the Overall winner.

The official judges of Masters of Motors were Brian Lohnes of BangShift and FOX NHRA, Jeff Smith, Former HOT ROD Magazine Editor and Car Craft Senior Technical editor, Mike Kojima of MotoIQ, and the one-and-only David Freiburger of HOT ROD Magazine, Roadkill, and Engine Masters fame.
