On this week’s episode, hosts Lisa Van Hook and Carson Horn are joined by Jeanie Rowbotham of Clarksville, Arkansas. Growing up an extremely shy child, Rowbotham’s mother encouraged her to join 4-H around the age of 12 knowing her involvement would instill confidence in her, as well as a love for agriculture. Years later, Rowbotham would earn a degree in agri-business from Arkansas Tech University and in ag-economics from the University of Arkansas. For the past 14 years, Rowbotham has been giving back to the organization that inspired her, serving as a 4-H agent and advocate for local youth with an interest in agriculture. Listen to this week’s Women in Industry podcast to hear Rowbotham share her story as an advocate for agriculture.
