Jeanne Córdova was a hispanic American lesbian powerhouse. Not only did her vast writing and publishing bring together queer folks across the nation, helping to connect people like never before, but her activism against hateful anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation and work to bring the Democratic Party to embracing the queer liberation movement helped to ensure the queer community would have freedom and recognition.
