Jeannette-Marie Lewis is a flutist and educator from Long Island, New York. Currently pursuing her D.M.A. in Flute Performance from the University of Maryland School of Music, Jeannette is exploring her passion for classical, jazz, and contemporary flute pedagogy. She completed an M.M. in Flute Performance from the Ithaca College School of Music, where she also holds a B.M. in Music Education. There, she served as a Graduate Assistant of Flute, Graduate Assistant of Vocal-General Student Teaching, Graduate Assistant to the Manager of Concerts and Facilities, and Stage Crew Manager. Jeannette has won positions with the Catskill Symphony Orchestra, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, and U.S. Air Force Academy Band.
