What does the behind-the-scenes really look like taking a medical device from concept to commercialization? We’re honored to have Jeff Elkins on this episode to discuss, just that! Jeff has 30 years of experience across a range of leadership roles for both large and startup medical device companies. Jeff Elkins is most recently President and CEO of venous stent company, Veniti. Among his vast experience in leadership at multiple medical device companies, Jeff received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst also loves working on his motorcycles. In this episode, Jeff shares some common land mines startup medical device companies come across, as well as his experience in leadership for multiple companies that have been acquired, and what he sees in the future of the medical device space.
