Our guest today is Jeff Lenhart – a full-time, homeless shelter worker who has devoted his life to serving others, giving back to his community, and spreading positivity to the world. Jeff dealt with depression at one point in his life, feeling utterly hopeless and contemplating suicide; but when he decided to start contributing his time and effort to making a dent in the community for good, his depression went away and fulfillment started to replace it. Although Jeff does not have a lot of money, he is rich with courage, fulfillment, kindness, and passion, and he took all of these amazing qualities and rode coast to coast in America on a small, yellow vespa spreading his message of kindness.
In this episode, Jeff and I talk about why contribution can heal depression, the fool-proof way to find what to pursue in life, and why it’s the little things that can make a huge difference in life.
