Jefferson Council on Aging strives to empower, guide and support the seniors of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana so that they can age with dignity and independence in the place of their choice. It is responsible for planning, organizing, and offering a comprehensive set of programs and services for improving the quality of life of Jefferson Parish’s 60+ year old seniors. These seniors represented nearly one fourth of the parish’s population.
