Prior to Jeffrey Epstein's system of supplying child prostitutes to celebrities and political elites, there were similar systems dating back to the Prohibition Era. From bootlegger Lewis Rosenstiel to mob bosses like Meyer Lansky, and all the way to Edgar J. Hoover, there was a system of corrupting high-level officials through this form of blackmail.
