Back in 2010, I had become quite active on twitter and Jeff Pulver invited me to NYC as a character to take part in the 140conf “state of now” conference. Jeffrey Hayzlett, who was still at Kodak at the time, was one of the speakers and he blew the crowd away with a great presentation about twitter.
We connected and stayed in touch ever since. Jeffrey was involved with The Apprentice as part of Kodak campaign, had a show on Bloomberg and eventually launched the C-suite network, a media company and social network aimed at the C suite.
Jeffrey has been involved in over 200 companies, was recently inducted into the Speakers Hall of Fame and is the best selling author of three books: Running the Gauntlet, The Mirror Test and more recently Think Big, Act Bigger.
Jeffrey is physically imposing and outspoken and yet he’s always given me the time of day when I had business questions or was on the edge of a big decision. I zipped down to NYC last year when I was trying to decide on my next move. When I told him I would call it “Maximum Impact” he said “Thats a Great Name” and so it was.
He’s truly one of the most amazing individuals I know and I’ll be grateful for his advice as long as I live. I feel privileged to have him on my podcast today.
I highly recommend his books, podcast and other content: http://hayzlett.com/
