Thomas R. Saving is Director of the Private Enterprise Research Center and University Distinguished Professor of Economics at Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the economics faculty in 1968, he was on the faculty at the University of Washington in Seattle and Michigan State University. His early research was on Monetary Theory and Policy and he earned a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1960.
