While sleeping soundly in her Texas bedroom, then 8-year-old Jennifer Schuett was kidnapped, taken to a deserted road, strangled, raped and her throat slashed. Left for dead, Jennifer was discovered nearly 12 hours later and taken to hospital. Told that she might never speak again or be able to have children, Jennifer says that she is “victorious” now, speaking to audiences all over the country about the 18-year hunt for her attacker and about the life she now shares with her husband and children.
