Composer and performer, Jennifer Walshe, described by the Irish Times as "the most original compositional voice to emerge from Ireland in the past 20 years,” has her work commissioned, broadcast and performed worldwide. Jennifer has written for a range of ensembles, the Arditti Quartet, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the International Contemporary Ensemble, to name only a few in her extensive discography of commissions. Jennifer frequently performs in her own works, specialising in extended vocal techniques which play an equally distinct part in her activity as an improviser. She has had a long-standing interest in AI, recently publishing her book, "13 Ways of Looking at AI, Art & Music," with Unsound.
