Another good read
When I stumbled upon the first book of this series I was hooked. When done I immediately came here to Amazon to purchase book 2 and get started with it. As with the first book the writing and editing are excellent. Love the characters that carried over from the first book and the new additional ones were quite intreging. The author did a great job with "Cano".
I figured I would take a break from the series and start a different book. 2 chapters in and I couldn't stand it anymore - I wanted to see what Jim Thorton would be into next. So here I am buying book 3 and off I go.
Good read.
A little hard to link the first chapters together but when they connect up, the book gets really moving along quite well.
An enjoyable read!
I am not generally a fan of westerns but noticed this book on the free list for kindle. So glad clicked the download link. The author has woven a rich cast of characters in to an easy reading novel. Characters are very well developed and the story line flows with lots of excitement and action. I may have to reevaluate the western genre of books
Classic novel
This was a great read. My second of his books. I found myself wrapped in the story line and couldn't stop reading. I'm looking forward to the next in the series now.

I would like to recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a very interesting and exciting book where the action never stops. I am finding these books to be very difficult to put down. I will be looking forward to reading the next book from this author.
