Jenny Wade Ph.D. on Structures of Mind, Transcendent Sex and Pre-Natal Consciousness

Ostrolenk speaks with Jenny Wade Ph.D, a professor with the Integral and Transpersonal Psychology doctoral program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, developmental psychologist, and researcher.
Dr. Wade details how she transitioned from a traditional career in marketing to one where her research of consciousness forms the basis of leadership. Dr. Wade also speaks of her work in altered states during sexual experiences, and how her own experience prompted her work in this field. She’s found that the experience of altered states during sex are much like that of mystical experiences, in that most people have a similar type of experience. Interestingly, the experience is only minimally related to orgasming and for most who have experienced altered states during sex, it has prompted a subsequent spiritual journey. Dr. Wade is now also focusing her work and research on prenatal consciousness and the experience of life between lives.
