On Ask Win today (Monday, January 20, 2020), Best-Selling Author, Win C welcomes Jeraud Norman. Jeraud and his son were hit by an 18 wheeler truck in in May 2012 and that caused Jeraud to lose his job, his house in foreclosure and mounds of debt. At that point in Jeraud’s life, he had been a single dad for the past year in a half, adopted his son's older brother, filed for full custody of my son and won. This all happened a year after Jeraud left his job at Newport News Shipbuilding where Jeraud graduated at the top of his class as an Apprentice. Jeraud became a supervisor of the nuclear powerplant aboard the aircraft carrier CVN77 Bush after he graduated. Due to politics, Jeraud left to work for the government over at Norfolk Naval Shipbuilding for an opportunity to climb the ranks again. A year after the transition, Jeraud started getting promoted in his new position and that's when the accident happened. While out of work, Jeraud desperately looked for ways that he could provide for his family when the only ways Jeraud knew how were not an option. Throughout this journey, I was introduced to the world of marketing on a few occasions and realized that Jeraud need to take it seriously.... that sales. After going headfirst into sales Jeraud realized it was difficult to give things away for free. What intrigued Jeraud the most about marketing online was it made it easier to find your ideal clients to buy your product or service. It was not until Jeraud went to a conference in Las Vegas and was on a plane home that he met a woman that was selling the exact same product as me but was using online marketing to do all the selling for her. She was making over $20k a month and could careless about talking to someone about her business. She recognized the materials from the conference and said she was there too. Jeraud was grinding he tail off and was making scraps. It was at that point that Jeraud decided that his have to do the marketing thing. Naturally Jeraud is an introvert and don't want to speak with every single person so this was right up his ally. Jeraud started his own marketing company where the motto is "We Turn Strangers Into Customers Using Paid Social Media Ads" and it has been a successful business for the past four years.
