•Uriah spoke the same message that Jeremiah had spoken.

•The people wanted to kill him just as they wanted to kill Jeremiah.

•But notice the difference in each man’s response.

•In verses 14-16, Jeremiah was willing to die but his life was spared.

•In verses 20-23, Uriah ran away and was ultimately killed.

•In verse 24, we see Jeremiah’s life was spared.

•This shows us how his courage was rewarded - with his life!

•He was willing to stand and face his fear and he saw God take over the fight.
