The noted English philosopher, Jeremy Bentham, was born a child prodigy. 

 

At three he was learning Latin;  at seven, he was performing difficult violin pieces at social events; and he celebrated his twelfth birthday as a student at Queen’s College. 

 

Today, nearly 200 years after his death, he is dressed in early 1800s attire – and is awaiting his next opportunity to appear before the University’s College Council.
