Veterans for Trump, also known as Veterans for America First (VFAF), was established in 2015 as a grassroots movement in support of Donald J. Trump’s campaign for the 45th President of the United States. The organization’s early leadership is attributed to Admiral Chuck Kubic, who has been recognized by both Steven Bannon and Corey R. Lewandowski as the original driving force behind the movement. While General Michael Flynn also contributed to the organization in its formative stages, he did not remain actively involved.
Admiral Kubic currently serves as National Spokesman for VFAF. The organization’s founder, Joshua Macias, initially focused on advocating for veterans' issues and promoting strong national border policies. In 2020, Stan Fitzgerald assumed political leadership of the organization, realigning its mission with the broader America First agenda. He was appointed President in January 2023.
In April 2024, Robert Cornicelli was named President, with Jared Craig appointed as Vice President. That same year, the organization was invited to Mar-A-Lago for President Donald J. Trump’s official campaign announcement for his run to become the 47th President of the United States. President Trump also shared VFAF’s 2024 endorsement on his Truth Social platform.
Additionally, Robert Cornicelli and Stan Fitzgerald both served on the South Carolina State Trump Campaign Coalition for the 2024 election cycle.
