With heart and soul for what she brings to the world, Jessica Diebel creates sustainable purpose with every chocolate bar. From bean to bar, her passion and desire to make a quality product while educating others on the beauty of the process are clearly expressed in her sharing and knowledge.
Makenu Chocolate — a bean to bar chocolate shop in Atlantic Beach, Florida — is a result of faith and patience, vision, sustainability, and beauty. And every visit to the shop along with every taste provides a little touch of chocolate therapy. Growing up in the Jacksonville, Florida beaches, like a lot of adventurous spirits, she moved away to discover just how special home really was. Returning is part of her story — returning to recognize the beauty of Jacksonville and the beaches, along with family and deep rooted friendships. Her love for home and family with a big vision for her bean to bar chocolate shop was born in 2020.
Jess’ previous life was as a therapist. Her psychology background and soft demeanor hold a natural attraction. And her knowledge for chocolate is crystal clear when she starts talking about her sweet craft.
