Listen Later

Jess Silver is a writer, fitness enthusiast and advocate. Jess founded Flex for Access first as a Social Media Awareness Campaign, and now it is a Non-Profit Organization aimed  at helping societal perceptions of disability evolve, and to allow all individuals regardless of limitations, fitness level and interest, the ability to be engaged in exercise and sport. The organization acts as a pathway to allow individuals with physical challenges and injuries to engage in fitness training sessions, yoga and boxing classes and other sport programs.
In this episode Jess and Jamie talk about how Flex for Access grew into an impactful non-profit, how we can all evolve our perceptions and increase accessibility in our organizations and programs, Jess' personal journey through challenges with determination and resilience.
