The Springboks are confident of delivering a much stronger performance when they face the Wallabies in Johannesburg on Saturday in round one of the Rugby Championship.

South Africa have only played Tests against Italy and Georgia this season, while the Wallabies contested a three-Test series against the British & Irish Lions Down Under.

There are fears that the back-to-back World Champions won’t be battle-hardened, but this is something centre Jesse Kriel has downplayed.
