Hamilton (Jesse) McCoy II, clinical professor of law at the Duke University School of Law, described the work of the Civil Justice Clinic at Duke and the work law students are doing to protect North Carolinians from eviction. He also discussed the purpose of law in society and the varieties of eviction defense under the law.
